today we will offset hand-washing water waste WHY We use about .25 gallons of water per 20-second hand wash. That's gallons a day when washing regularly. We will reduce water waste by offsetting that water usage. HOW Before we do something that requires water, ask if we need to do it, or can reduce how much is used. Don't cook with water, skip a hair wash, skip a pee flush. Thanks to those who responded to the "input" email.
