water plants with rainwater. ðŸŒ±☔

today we will

water plants with rainwater.
WHY It's rain season. Let's save some water by giving our plants what they were born to have. We will reduce water waste by watering plants with rainwater.

HOW We can set up a rainwater collector outside. Could be a rain barrel system or a bucket. Then, we use rainwater collected there to water our plants.

sweep (then vacuum).

today we will

sweep (then vacuum).
WHY More than 758,506 metric tons of CO2* are used to power vacuums in the US annually. We will reduce emissions by sweeping (then vacuuming if needed).
*That's like driving over 1.8 million miles in a passenger vehicle. (Based on 30-minute vacuum use per week/household.)

HOW Sweep dirt up into a pile. Collect the dirt pile in a broom pan.
Or, vacuum up just the dirt pile.
