We will reduce emissions by downloading navigation directions before starting our cars. *That's like driving 282,647,209 miles in the average car. HOW When we need to use our phone's or a car's navigation to drive somewhere, first input the destination and get the directions. Then, start the car and go. Thanks! TWW Answer: Nine people responded to that tip asking for more info. Sorry for not getting those facts in the initial newsletter! The biggest idea here is that the water waste at hotels comes not just from the same shower and brushing of teeth we would have done at a home as well, but from the daily cleaning and toiletry replacements, daily laundry, facilities, groundskeeping, pools, water bottles, etc., and our more lackadaisical approach to conservation that seems to take over when we stay at a hotel vs a home.
