eat foods that turn fast, first.
WHY Methane released from non-composted food waste contributes to climate change. Plus, more waste means more land needed to grow food.

HOW Whenever we're deciding what to cook for a meal, let's start with including the foods that look like they will turn soon.

TIP INSPIRATION

This is how I started my lunch making today. I thought this may be an obvious idea — to eat what is going to turn, before it turns. But, to start every meal preparation with this in mind, as a first step, was something that might be a new way of thinking for some. Given how much food waste this thought process can save, it seemed worth spreading. It usually just means cooking with left overs, older produce, and/or already-opened container foods.
