consider "unpaper" towels.

today we will

consider "unpaper" towels.
WHY It takes about 51,000 trees per day to replace all the paper towels we discard every day. Discarded, they release methane while breaking  down in landfills.

HOW Consider using old rags or a towel cut into squares instead. Wash them once they're all dirtied, and then reuse. If we don't have extra rags, here are other options:

TIP INSPIRATION

Quarantining in a my family's home, I can't claim their old rags or towels to use as paper towels. They had disposable ones that we were using, and, even though I would rinse and reuse them as much as possible, it was hard to watch them be thrown away every day (we have a one-year-old). I finally bit the bullet and bought some reusable "unpaper" towels. They arrived last week and it reminded me how great they are to have in the house.
