"Also add one part white vinegar to three parts water when washing [produce]. This will remove mold spores and keep your produce fresher longer so there is less fFood waste. A quick rinse after washing will get rid of any vinegar taste."

"I wanted to share that in addition to washing my veggies like this, I will also add salt to the water to remove any pesticides for when I can't find organic (or my budget doesn't allow it). I've read that it's more effective than rinsing under the tap when it comes to nonorganic produce."
